Terms and Conditions

1. License to Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, LearnA grants you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the App for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes on Apple-branded products that you own or control, in accordance with the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

2. Intellectual Property and Content

App Materials: The LearnA name, logo, custom UI designs, graphic assets, animations, sound effects, audio algorithms, software code, and educational features are the exclusive intellectual property of LearnA.
Public Domain Books: The curated classic literary works provided in the App's library are in the public domain under copyright laws. We claim no ownership over the original underlying literary texts.
User-Imported Content: You are solely responsible for any books, articles, or text files (.epub, .txt) that you import into LearnA. You represent and warrant that you hold all necessary copyrights or licenses for any content you upload and that your imports do not infringe upon any third party's rights.

3. In-App Subscriptions (LearnA PRO)

LearnA offers optional premium subscription plans ("LearnA PRO") that unlock unlimited book reading across all CEFR levels, advanced Storyteller literary audio voices, unlimited vocabulary saves, and custom EPUB imports.

        Auto-Renewable Subscription Terms (Apple App Store Guideline 3.1.2):
        Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Free Trial: If offered, any unused portion of a free trial period (e.g., 3-day free trial) will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Automatic Renewal: Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Renewal Charges: Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of the selected plan.
Managing & Canceling: You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal at any time by going to your iPhone Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
Refunds: All purchase transactions and refund requests are handled directly by Apple in accordance with Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

      

4. Acceptable Use and Restrictions

You agree that you will not:

Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App.
Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the App.
Use the App in any manner that violates applicable local, state, national, or international laws or regulations.
Attempt to bypass, disable, or tamper with security or subscription validation mechanisms within the App.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular educational purpose, or non-infringement. While we endeavor to provide accurate translations, dictionary definitions, and high-quality audio narrations, we do not guarantee error-free or uninterrupted operation.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall LearnA, its developers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Termination

These Terms remain in effect until terminated by either you or us. You may terminate these Terms at any time by deleting the App from your device and canceling any active subscriptions through your Apple ID account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms.

8. Apple Standard EULA

These Terms supplement the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA, these Terms shall govern to the extent permitted by law. (Apple Standard EULA)

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to revise or update these Terms at any time. Any changes will become effective immediately upon updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Your continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your binding acceptance of the new Terms.
